Manager Procurement

Job Purpose

As Manager Procurement for Mashreq Bank Pakistan Limited (MBPL), this position extends Centralized Procurement Dept. (CPD) and works in close conjunction with it. The main purpose is to manage the procurement of goods and services from third parties in MBPL. The Procurement Manager interacts with internal stakeholders, systems, and workflows. This role provides independent oversight, review and compliance to Bank’s Procurement Policy and Procedures, as applicable to MBPL.

Key Result Areas

• Keeping in line with the overall risk and regulatory framework, ensure purchasing activity for the Bank is carried out within the ambit and conformity of all applicable rules, laws, policies and regulations.
• Manage the operations of Centralized Procurement Department (CPD) in MBPL to ensure that 100% of third-party influence-able spend passes through CPD.
