Overview

CSA Group seeks a Manager, Strategic Initiatives (SIM) to lead the development and execution of strategic priorities in the electrical sector. The SIM reports to the Director, Electrical Standards and will focus on Canadian Electrical Code Parts I, II, III, energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, and electrical energy storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership across the organization to motivate and focus staff on strategic business objectives.
• Develop and implement functional strategies, building consensus and obtaining buy‑in for initiatives.
• Monitor and review active and planned initiatives, recommending adjustments as necessary.
• Identify development opportunities related to new business, markets, portfolio exits or enhancements.
• Support market strategies with business‑development activities to achieve short‑term and long‑term revenue objectives.
