                    Job Description Main Responsibilities:

To manage the Direct and Indirect Purchase & Distribution (Logistics and Warehousing) function in an efficient and sustainable way for PU located in India.

Purchasing
 
Effectively manage the direct and indirect material purchasing function.
This function includes both tactical and operational buying.
Indigenous & Localization project, new Vendor development, Establishing & controlling the Outsourcing process and subcontracting activities, making contracts and agreements Negotiation etc.
Adherence to Sandvik supplier code of conduct and Sustainable Supplier management.
Monitoring the Supplier performance by periodical audits, rating and reviews. Drive improvements for sustainable supplies. Ensure timely Supplier payments.
Participate in Strategic initiative and lead the projects for sustainable supply chain and cost savings.
