Manager - Telecoms

I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Identifies technologies and solutions to support the technology road map.
Provides subject matter expertise to related technology disciplines for collaborative projects.
Interact with solution and technology vendors for project services and technology updates, among other engagements.
Provides mentoring to IT Technician, Telecoms within the functional group.
Collaborates with team members to create and develop plans and design of Telecoms Infrastructure to support new projects and enhancements.
Leads proof of concept activities, as well as conduct design and performance assessment of customer projects.
Performs service testing and benchmarking for IP services and enhanced customer experience.
Provides isolation, resolution, and tracking for escalated alarms and issues.
Manages recurring problems and creates and/or implements long term solutions.
Escalates incidents to vendor for resolution when necessary.
