Overview

At PwC, the Cybersecurity team protects organizations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. The Manager, Threat Hunter will lead threat‑hunting activities and support incident response, delivering secure outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

• Search network flow, PCAP, logs and sensors for evidence of attack patterns and hunt for Advanced Persistent Threats (APT).
• Identify unknown threats for clients through advanced threat‑hunting services to complement standard SOC services.
• Perform initial investigations (lightweight forensics) on potential incidents.
• Conduct incident response processes and methodologies in a SOC environment, including escalation and communication protocols.
• Support and participate in a 24/7 on‑call incident response rotation.
• Develop and tune detection use cases, and analyze detection effectiveness.
