Manager, Volunteer Services

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the activities of volunteers providing services to all Corewell Health Grand Rapids locations. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, screening, interviewing, orienting, and counseling volunteers; working collaboratively with managers within Corewell Health to establish and promote volunteer opportunities and tracking and reporting of data related to the volunteer programs.


Essential Functions


+ Collaborates with managers and staff to assess needs of individual clinical and non-clinical areas in order to plan and develop volunteer programs and service opportunities consistent with the needs of Corewell Health.

+ Recruits and carries out initial interview for volunteer candidates. Works with department administrative staff to ensure that candidates have completed all of the required steps of the application process and assures matching of volunteers to appropriate assignments. Maintains comp...
