Managing Director

We’re working with a well-established Design & Build contractor turning over c.£20m, delivering projects ranging from £1m–£8m.

The founder is planning a structured step back over the next 24–36 months and is looking to appoint a Joint MD who will transition into the Managing Director role.

This is a genuine succession opportunity, not a caretaker role.

The brief

• Work alongside the current MD initially, taking increasing ownership of the business
• Lead either the commercial growth or operational engine of the company, depending on background
• Shape strategy, build leadership capability, and drive performance across live projects
• Prepare the business for its next phase of growth with reduced founder dependency
