The **U.S. East Managing Principal** leads more than 600 extraordinary professionals in one of the largest business units within the Americas. **Based in New York City** and working closely with the Region Managing Director and the broader regional leadership team, the role delivers the global strategy and the regional business plan across the Eastern U.S. from offices in New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Newark, New Jersey. These are core U.S. markets for Arup that combine global-scale clients, complex urban challenges, and sustained investment in infrastructure, real estate, and civic institutions – the conditions where Arup’s Total Design mindset and integrated engineering, planning, and advisory capabilities deliver the greatest value.
