Manual Operator

Job Summary

Responsibilities:
•Work together with a team of material handlers, production operators and leaders to supply material to automation manufacturing cells, execute manual manufacturing operations and perform in-process inspections needed for continuous production.
• Works from specifications, work orders, work instructions and general instructions from Production Supervisor/Team Leads.
• Communicate effectively with production leaders to meet the needs of individual manufacturing operations.
• Timely and accurately stage materials, execute manual assembly steps and perform inspections in accordance with the production schedule.
• Assemble plastic, metal and other components as instructed by manual procedures.
• Fill trays with parts and components from pallets/machines.
• Manage Kanban or WIP (Work in Progress) as needed via packing, transportation, etc.
