- Helps determine the operations required for more complex projects in product manufacturing, as well as implement cost-saving process improvements. Own the processes - create capable processes.
- May be responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budget and scheduling guidelines.
- May coach or manage less experienced team members. Troubleshoot and resolve more complex problems, develop sequence of operations, estimate time requirements for each, and prepare operation sheets.
- Identifies, recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in the sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related issues to increase efficiency and cost savings.
- Designs and programs CNC equipment to utilize it at full capacity.
- May be responsible for the completion of engineering projects.
