Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer that develops, optimizes, and sustains manufacturing processes that convert design-intent drawings into finished products that consistently meet customer requirements. The role focuses on applying Lean manufacturing methodologies to improve quality, delivery, safety, and productivity across a high mix/low volume environment. The Manufacturing Engineer also designs and implements tooling, equipment, fixtures, racks, and data systems, while working closely with cross-functional teams to support product qualification, launch activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. This person must have experience with equipment validation.
This is a short, 4-month long contract to support the start-up of a new plant in Marietta, OH. There is potential to find additional work/opportunities with the company following this contract.
