Manufacturing Operation Manager

Consults with leadership team to set short- to medium-term strategic direction and operating plans for a typically small to medium sized manufacturing operation. Ensures products are manufactured on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives. Implements manufacturing standards and defines guidelines for assigned area(s). Determines directions, priorities and assigns resources with full accountability for results of functional area. Responsible for establishing and managing budgets. Initiates and approves projects to continuously improve efficiency and competitiveness. May have direct responsibility or work with functional leader for functional strategic planning, including establishing and managing budgets for one or more departments in the immediate organization.
