Provide manufacturing leadership for plant, shift and department. Manage multiple shifts of an assembly line, fabrication or machining operation. Drive results, create and monitor measures, and set expectations in safety, quality and cost. Communicate with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders and support staff while leading the annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations. Apply Team Based Work Systems and Production Structure utilizing decision making process to balance customer, individual, and business needs. Utilize Lean Manufacturing techniques including Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping to lead key continuous improvement projects that improve the cost reduction process and focus on the 7 wastes: over-production, waiting time, transportation, over-processing, inventory, motion, and scrap.
