Mapping Technician

Teranet is currently looking for two Mapping Technicians. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Cadastre Maintenance in Registries and Property Solutions, the Mapping Technician will provide map maintenance in Ontario’s Electronic Land Registration System through the assembly and analysis of property boundaries and title information collected from land registration records.
Please note that this position requires in-office presence during training period post which it would move to a hybrid work model.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assembling, analyzing, evaluating, and entering survey plans and title information received from the Ministry of Public and Business Services Delivery and Procurement (MPBSDP), municipalities, and other sources as appropriate in the property mapping GIS database “OnMap”.
Compile and enter relevant survey and boundary information by:
