Market Data Support - Banking

Responsibilities

• Provide daily, weekend, and on-call shift coverage, including system checks and Disaster Recovery (DR) testing.
• Serve as the first line of defense by monitoring production systems, managing the support hotline, and resolving user escalations.
• Log, track, and resolve system incidents and non-incident requests using Jira.
• Validate, implement, and perform post-change checks for new services, products, and feed integration updates.
• Coordinate with external vendors and exchanges to troubleshoot and resolve market data and feed issues.
• Document operational standards and maintain global system monitoring processes.
• Support international internal teams using a follow-the-sun support model.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux, including commands, system administration, and security.
• Proficiency with Unix shell scripting (Python or Perl is a plus).
