Market Planning Analyst

Analyze available energy market information sources to clearly and efficiently communicate market movements, windows of opportunity, and relevant short-, medium-, and long-term events.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of the monthly NEG presentation and any other presentations required by the Market Intelligence department and/or management.
• Frequently review the most up-to-date and relevant information sources impacting the energy sector. Communicate relevant news as needed.
• Support the design and execution of new reports as determined by the Department Head.
• Send market reports to senior management and clients.
• Answer client and senior management questions regarding the state of the energy markets.
• Support research into new markets as required.
• Participate in relevant market intelligence events organized by consulting firms and/or banks.
