About the Role

Working within the Cougars Athletics and Recreation department, the Mascot Performer has the exciting job of entertaining fans as Calvin the Cougar! Calvin give high-fives, dances and takes photos with fans at Cougars games, promotional events and University community events. 
This is a flexible position whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-five (35) hours per week. 
Responsibilities
 Attending all required varsity athletics games and events as Calvin the Cougar
 Attending campus and community events as required
Engaging fans, taking photos, prompting the crowd to cheer
Giving away swag and merchandise as required
Following all mascot protocols and codes of conduct
Making recommendations on improvements to the program
Taking care of the mascot suits and cost...
