Job Description
The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario is seeking a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Mass Spectrometry ‘Omics for Novel Therapeutics. Strengthen your research impacts while favoring the integration of equity and inclusion.
As a tenured Associate Professor or Professor, this role supports cross-department collaborations that enhance the university’s research infrastructure. Candidates will utilize their proficiency in metabolomics, proteomics, and lipidomics to advance health research. Exceptional candidates will also play a vital mentoring role and will be encouraged to pursue external funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enhance the shared Mass Spectrometry resources
• Support junior faculty in collaborative research
• Lead innovative research projects in ‘omics disciplines
