Onboard our Salish Sea Vessels as Master, you are a leader of a professional marine team who inspires and educates passengers from all over the world! You will be working with a team who is outgoing and passionate about sharing their knowledge of our BC coast and its wildlife. You are responsible for the safe operation of the vessel, its crew, and passengers. As a leader in the industry, you are also responsible for ensuring the vessels are operated in accordance with Marine Industry Standards. Responsibilities:

Operating the vessel in accordance with Transport Canada Standards, Transport Canada Shipping Act, and its regulations. Conducting crew drills as required by Transport Canada and company SOPs. Start up and shutdown of the vessel each working day with the assistance of the Chief Mate. Ensuring the vessel is ready for the start of the next day.
