Job Description

• Implements the Company's Quality, Safety and Environmental Protection Policies and Drug & Alcohol Policy.
• Motivates the crew in the observance of Company Policies.
• Issues appropriate orders and instructions in a clear and simple manner.
• Verifies that specified requirements are observed.
• Ensures that his ship is at all times manned according to the Company,
• Flag and International requirements
• Ensures that all new crew / personnel are properly familiarized.
• Exercise his personal supervision and ensures proper implementation over the training performed onboard.
• Organizes the bridge team and ensures with sufficient that watch keeping arrangement are adequate for maintaining a safe navigation watch.
