Job Description
Lead the MTM course at Western’s Faculty of Education as a Limited Duties Instructor. Your role focuses on coordinating mentorship to improve student learning effectively.
As the MTM Course Coordinator, you will support the professional development of approximately 25–28 Master Teacher Mentors. Your expertise in mentoring and professional learning frameworks is crucial to bridge various educational practices. Liaise with other educational offices to facilitate the integration between coursework, district policies, and teacher candidate development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for the MTM course logistics
• Direct support and training for Master Teacher Mentors
• Monitor quality and consistency of mentoring practices
• Collaborate with Teacher Education and practicum events
• Collect and review mentor feedback and attendance
