Role Overview

The Material Control specialist plans material requirements (MRP), keeps the line supplied without overstock, and supports interpretation between Thai and Chinese teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build the MRP plan against the production schedule to ensure timely material availability.
• Track material delivery progress; coordinate with purchasing, warehouse and production to avoid shortages and aged stock.
• Control inventory levels and stock turn to minimise excess and waste.
• Manage withdrawals against work orders, top-ups and returns aligned with system data.
• Resolve production-line issues (shortages, damage, loss) and drive improvement.
• Run periodic stock counts; analyse variances to improve accuracy.
