Material Engineer

About the role

CHINA WUYI CO., LTD., a Chinese State-owned Construction Company, is seeking an experienced Material Engineer II to join our team in Mariveles. The required experience for being an ME-II shall be above 10 years, total work experience shall be above 15 years.

• Accreditation: Requires passing the DPWH Contractors'/Consultants' Materials Engineers Accreditation Examination with a score of 80% or higher, or upgrading from ME-I.
• Job Scope: Conducts, analyzes, and interprets lab/field tests (soil, concrete, asphalt), inspects on-site materials, manages the testing laboratory, and signs off on material certifications and technical reports.
• Responsibilities: Ensures materials meet specifications, handles non-conforming materials, and prepares reports for project engineers.
