Preferred RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringExperience:Previous manufacturing plant experiencePrevious automotive industry experienceComputer skills (Microsoft Office/Excel/Word/PowerPoint), Autocad, AccessFunctional expertise in Packaging and Containerization disciplinesStrong understanding of lean material flow strategies & lean manufacturing processesAbility to design equipment, packaging and dunnageMinimum RequirementsEducation: High school diploma2-5 years' experienceAbility to work with all levels of the organizationTeam oriented, strong drive for resultsPosition DutiesConfirm packaging meets form, fit and ergonomic requirements for plant internal packaging/dunnage.Initiate corrective actions to alleviate part quality concerns related to dunnage or handling.Support lean manufacturing continuous improvement (decanted marketplace, small lot containerization, adaptable linefeed, returnable containerization, etc.).
