Material Planner Executive

A. Material Planning & Inventory Management

Review MRP outputs and plan material requirements for SMT, assembly, NPI, and box-build operations.

Manage safety stocks, MOQ, and planning parameters to prevent shortages or overstock.

Monitor inventory accuracy, lead times, and BOM/AVL data in ERP.

Lead initiatives to reduce slow-moving, obsolete, or excess materials and improve cycle count accuracy.

B. Inter-Department Communication

Provide daily/weekly material readiness updates and highlight risks to Production and Planning teams.

Coordinate ECOs, BOM changes, and material substitutions with Engineering.

Work with Procurement to resolve shortages, expedite critical items, and confirm delivery schedules.

Ensure Warehouse/clerks maintain accurate kitting, storage, MSD/ESD handling, and ERP transactions.

Guide and train clerks to improve material handling and process compliance.
