Job Description

Purpose Statement: The Manager - Purchasing is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the Purchasing team. This role will represent the Tactical Purchasing Organization in supplier and/or customer interactions, and drive operational improvement through the implementation of best practices.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Mentor and manage the purchasing team leads to ensure optimum effectiveness while acting as a role model and projecting a positive attitude. This includes monitoring workload distribution among team members and allocating tasks appropriately.
Responsible for ensuring the purchasing of materials is in adherence to Plexus policy.
Accountable for the teams performance in regards to purchasing execution metrics (Including but not limited to: OPH, Past Due, Unconfirmed) 
Lead the identification and implementation of best practice within region.
