Overview

You will join a Materials Engineering team responsible for providing technical support across the full product line of Siemens Energy’s aeroderivative gas turbine products—from design and manufacturing to repair and service. In this role, your main responsibility will be to support the production of bearing components, including races, rolling elements (balls), and housing. You will ensure that selected materials and metallurgical processes deliver the required performance, durability, and reliability under demanding operating conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input into the selection of materials, heat treatments, surface treatments (carburizing, nitriding, coatings/plating), and suppliers to meet business needs for bearing components.
