Materials Buyer

Goal

Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.

What You Will Do

• Manage and coordinate all maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities to ensure optimal inventory levels and availability of materials.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for MRO-related inquiries and issues within the plant.
• Collaborate with various departments to assess MRO needs and align procurement strategies effectively.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and maintenance processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and maintain a robust data management system for tracking MRO supplies and usage.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in purchasing or supply chain (preferably technical parts) VMI Consigment, Kanban
