Requirements
Mandatory
˗ Basic knowledge of materials used in the plants in oil & gas field (material types, basic properties such as strength, toughness, corrosion resistance, weldability, heat treatment requirements, etc.)
˗ Basic knowledge of degradation/corrosion damage seen in the plants in oil & gas field (knowledge equivalent to API RP)
˗ Basic knowledge of RBI according to API /
˗ Basic knowledge of welding methods and welding management
˗ Basic knowledge of non-destructive testing and material testing/analysis
Preferable
˗ Knowledge of the parts of ASME Sec. VIII related to the requirements of material, welding, fabrication and quality inspection
˗ Knowledge of ASME B31.3 related to the requirements of material, welding, fabrication and quality inspection
˗ Basic knowledge of FFS regarding API
