Materials Development Engineer

Your Tasks Selection of materials on the local market (Americas) considering local legal requirements global programs and their specific global requirements (sustainable materials, emissions, aging properties, a.s.o.). Selection & release of local material suppliers in cooperation with purchasing department. Perform of release testing (material and function) in cooperation with the materials engineers in German headquarters. Knowledge of the differences between local and European/Asian materials and communication with development and customer teams.
