Materials Distribution Technician

+ Position Summary
+ Under general supervision; receives purchases of equipment and supplies and distributes to departments throughout the medical center. Receives, stores and distributes stock supplies and manages patient chargeable items from central supply. Distributes and tracks patient chargeable equipment and bills patents accordingly. Actively uses the computer to enter data for equipment tracking, charging, receipts entry, and inventory transactions. Actively uses the computer for sourcing information through purchase order inquiry and stock by location inquiry. Is responsible for inventory accuracy and maintenance. Ensures all actions taken in carrying out responsibilities support patient centered care.
