:Materials Engineer (Roads & Utilities)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Materials Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the selection, testing, quality control, and management of materials used in Infrastructure construction projects. He needs to ensure that materials meet the required specifications, standards, and project requirements while optimizing cost, durability, and performance.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Material Selection and Specification
Review project requirements, specifications, and design documents to determine material needs.
Recommend appropriate materials based on project requirements, environmental conditions, and cost considerations.
Ensure that selected materials comply with relevant codes, standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, ISO), and client specifications.
