Objective
Help analyze the list of materials and purchases of raw materials, purchased parts, and the equipment needed for the manufacture of product components or consumables.
Activities
Help plan deliveries based on production forecasts, market conditions, material substitution, and the capacity of production lines, storage, and handling.
Responsible for reviewing material lists to ensure compliance with the company's standardized practices regarding the use of parts and materials.
Establish and maintain a unit processing system that ensures a WIP level lower than the limit specified by the company.
Perform the measurement and monitoring of material consumption.
Present daily information, or whenever requested, regarding the area’s results in operations meetings.
Participate in the transfer of new products, ensuring that components are available on time.
Maintain the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
