Job Description
The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Virginia is seeking applications for an outstanding academic physician at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent clinical care, advance research in obstetrics and women’s health, and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
Our division is currently comprised of 7 physicians, 3 Genetic Counselors, and a Perinatal Nurse Navigator. We have 8 dedicated core sonographers, who perform advanced obstetric ultrasound across our main Fetal Care Center and regional outreach locations. Our clinical research team, comprised of a research administrator, research coordinator, and access to a central Clinical Trials Unit for additional pre/post award support. Division members provide the full breadth of care in high-risk obstetrics including inpatient and outpatient care, ultrasound-guided fetal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, remote fetal ult...
