Description:
Functions as a General Mechanic for the MD530 under the direct supervision of the Chief Mechanic. Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies and components (e.g., engines, rotors, transmissions, flight controls, etc.). Performs scheduled and unscheduled services on aircraft, subassemblies, components, and aerospace ground support equipment. Assists in preparing aircraft for inspections and services and performs scheduled inspections and services IAW applicable manuals. Solves moderate problems by conducting analysis using manufacturing technical documentation. Uses available online manuals and industry-standardized documentation to access critical information for services.
