Mech Design Engr I

Supplier Readiness Design Engineeringhas an opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer I. This position will focus most of the time on developing and validating Code 3 Models based on 2D drawings from legacy programs, and will also be supporting C2HO, with the purpose of searching for the second source of supplier, better deliveries, and quality parts. Value stream supporting will be Engines, however, will also be supporting Power Systems, Mechanical Air & thermal value streams. It is desired that the applicant has strong knowledge of aerospace products, manufacturing processes, and CAD, preferably Siemens NX and CATIA or Solid Works CAD software which will be used to modify/create 3D models/drawings. Knowledge of GD&T and aerospace drawing interpretation is a must, as well as the knowledge to perform stack-up analysis.
