Mechanic

MECHANIC Position Description: There is a position available for a Mechanic in the Transportation Department with School District #60. Applications must be completed online and will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position has been filled. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor and Transportation Working Lead, this position is responsible for maintaining the School District vehicle fleet including school buses, motorized and non-motorized maintenance vehicles, as well as compressors, light plants and grounds equipment. Hours of work: Eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days/week Duties to Commence: As soon as possible after closing Work Year Base: Twelve (12) months per year Commencing Salary: $43.81/hr.
