Truck / HGV Mechanic On-Site | Monday to Friday Were looking for a skilled and motivated Truck / HGV Mechanic to join a busy, hands-on team at an operational site focused on vehicle maintenance and compliance Location: On-site (waste management / recycling environment) Hours: Monday Friday, 08:00 17:00 (overtime available or call-outs may be required) What Youll Be Doing: Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance on heavy trucks Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently Work across engines, brakes, suspension, steering, gearboxes, and hydraulics Prepare vehicles for compliance checks, inspections, and road safety standards Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime Complete service records, job cards, and defect reports Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment Health & Safety: Follow strict health & safety procedures Use PPE and tools correctly Report defects, hazards, or incidents immediately Ensure vehicles are fully safe before returning them ...
