MECHANIC - REPLACEMENT STEP #1 Position Description: There is a position available for a Mechanic - Replacement Step #1 in the Transportation Department with School District #60. Applications must be completed online and will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor and Transportation Working Lead, this position is responsible for maintaining the School District vehicle fleet including school buses, motorized and non-motorized maintenance vehicles, as well as compressors, light plants and grounds equipment. Hours of work: Eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days/week Duties to Commence: As soon as possible after closing until the return of the incumbent Work Year Base: Twelve (12) months per year Commencing Salary: $43.81/hr.
