Mechanic Technician

Job Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment in the plant

Perform routine inspection and maintenance of production equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, and machinery

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to ensure smooth operation of equipment

Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) tasks

Dismantle, repair, and replace mechanical components such as bearings, gears, seals, and shafts

Assist in installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment

Monitor equipment performance and report any abnormalities or failures

Perform lubrication, tightening, and basic mechanical adjustments

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals

Support electrical teams in maintenance of electro-mechanical systems

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE safety standards
