Job Description
This role focuses on developing and coordinating detailed BIM models for mechanical and electrical systems on large-scale commercial and industrial projects, including advanced manufacturing and semiconductor facilities. The Mechanical BIM Designer interprets construction drawings, supports preconstruction and estimating efforts, and collaborates closely with project teams to ensure accurate scope definition, quantity takeoffs, and coordinated design deliverables.
Responsibilities

+ Interpret and analyze KTA (Issued for Construction – IFC) drawings to support electrical scope development and coordination.

+ Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs in alignment with established Bill of Quantity (BoQ) standards and processes.

+ Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and project teams to validate scope, identify gaps, and ensure accuracy in bid submissions.
