Mechanical Design Engineer

Join our innovative R&D team in Breda and help shape the future of broadcast cameras! We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who will contribute to the design of housing and cooling systems for camera electronics and optics, working closely with our Mechanical Architect and other disciplines. 

What you’ll do 
+ Participate in mechanical design activities throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development to release and maintenance. 
+ Work on diverse aspects of product design, including: 
+ Styling and ergonomics 
+ Reliability engineering. 
+ Structural and thermal engineering 
+ Design for Assembly (DfA), Design for Manufacturing (DfM), and related principles (DfX) 
+ Collaborate closely with other R&D disciplines such as Electrical Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Optical Design. 
+ Support operations during validation and production with for example root cause analysis of issues related to mechanics.
