Mechanical Design Engineer - huge Brownfield project

Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will work with external contractors to ensure the completion of assigned packages including layout design, basic and detail design, engineering management, and engineering analysis.

You will possess

• An ability to establish, deploy and manage engineering and design processes
• Proven ability to engineer and deliver engineering packages through engineering management
• Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating objective and critical thinking
• Advanced computer literacy and engineering software skills relevant to the discipline e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD, Space Gass, Sidewinder, Ansys, Powercad, etc
• Strong engagement and leadership skills
• Skilled at communicating, achieving consensus and building alignment cooperatively
• Project and plant risk identification and management skills, with a particular focus on achieving a Zero Harm project outcome
