Mechanical Design Engineer works on the planning, design, estimation and specification development of electrical components of the projects, searching for new engineering solutions; looking to develop new or existing processes; and working to develop more efficient construction methodology.
Duties And Responsibilities
Performs mechanical design work including researching data, conducting feasibility and economic studies, and determining design criteria in accordance with required standards and codes for assigned projects.
Designs and implements cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput.
Develops a project specification with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines.
Develops and evaluates theoretical electrical designs.
