Mechanical Design Engineer Ref: 4137

In this role, you will be responsible for producing innovative and practical custom designs, improving existing customer designs, and creating accurate manufacturing drawings. Your expertise in sheet metal manufacturing, fabrication, and design will be essential in ensuring high-quality solutions, meeting customer specifications, and supporting the success of both the team and the company. You will also collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers. To succeed in this role, you should have a National Diploma or BTech/Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD/Draftsight, and knowledge of materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel are essential. Experience with Sigmanest and relevant certifications will be advantageous. A valid Code 8 drivers license is required.
