MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Design products, machines and systems to meet customer process requirements using engineering principles.
• Support production and coordinate installation of R&D product to ensure machine or system operates successfully.
• liaise with supplier in quoting process and prepare mechanical costing to support sales and marketing.
• inspect and evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate product malfunctions.
• alter or modify design to obtain specified functional and operational performance.
• understand customer requirement and develop concept proposal drawing to support sales and marketing.
• determine parts supply, maintenance tasks, safety procedures, and service schedule required to maintain machines and equipment in prescribed condition.
