**Description:**
You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer for the ATWS (Advanced Targeting and Weapon Systems) team. Our team builds the cutting edge sensor and window hardware that powers the next generation of missile and fire control solutions at Lockheed Martin’s Orlando, FL campus.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will drive the creation of precision mechanical and opto mechanical prototypes, production parts, and test hardware in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You’ll work side by side with sensor, software, and production engineers to turn concepts into manufacturable, affordable hardware that meets stringent performance standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Developing 2D drawings and 3D models for sensors, windows, and sub assemblies from concept through production release.
