Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Product Change Mechanical Engineer to provide mechanical and opto-mechanical design support for a portfolio of advanced laser and high-tech products. This role focuses on engineering changes, production support, and design improvements , working closely with operations, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute engineering changes including obsolescence, supplier updates, and quality-driven modifications
• Support production and operations as the primary contact for released products
• Maintain and control BOMs, drawings, and specifications in line with engineering changes
• Apply 3D CAD (SolidWorks) to modify designs and create detailed drawings
• Support design improvements using FEA, thermal analysis, or fluid dynamics (beneficial)
