Key Responsibilities:
The role will include the following elements, balanced according to the evolving needs of the organization and the aptitudes of the mechanical design engineer:
Apply a solid knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles to develop new solutions and to evaluate the merits and risks of alternative design concepts.
Apply FEA and CFD analysis tools to predict stress states due to thermal and mechanical influences, dynamic behavior of structures and electronics cooling performance.
Apply 3D mechanical CAD tools to develop fully-documented detailed mechanical designs.
Perform the detailed mechanical design of precision production tooling used to assemble products.
