Mechanical Design Engineer Department: Design Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Have you got 2+ years Design experience within Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing environments? If so, our client, a global design and manufacturing company delivering turnkey solutions for water, wastewater, and industrial sectors are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding Design team.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, detailed, to–scale drawings in line with industry and health & safety standards, including tank general arrangements, sheet projection/CNC drawings, access steelwork, and roof structure drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• Maintain drawing control through Vault for assigned projects and liaise with Sales and Contracts teams.
• Calculate costs and apply engineering principles to assess feasibility of manufacture and construction.
